Advice from the house
The hair comb is the easiest hair accessory to wear on your wedding day. It slips into a low, soft or side chignon and is secured with a few hairpins. At the workshop, every comb is handmade with pearls, crystals, cold porcelain flowers or golden touches, from the understated mini comb to the double comb.
To choose, start with three things: the volume of the hairstyle, whether or not you wear a veil, and the materials already visible on the dress. Pearls soften the look, crystals catch more light, and handcrafted flowers reinforce a boho or Provençal style. With a veil, ask your hairdresser to plan a secure fixing: the comb can sit above the chignon, at the side or under the veil.
A comb is easy to coordinate with earrings, a back necklace or a few hair pins from the same collection. If you are torn between two sizes, a photo from your hair trial helps the workshop advise you.
For a low or soft chignon, choose a light, slightly curved bridal comb that is easy to secure with invisible hairpins. Pearls give a soft look, crystals add more light, and flowers suit boho or rustic weddings.
Yes. A comb can go with a veil if your hairdresser plans a secure fixing. The comb can be placed above the chignon, at the side or under the veil depending on the hairstyle and the volume you want.
A comb gives structure to a specific area of the hairstyle, pins are spread through a chignon for a lighter effect, and a slide is better suited to half-up styles or loose hair. The choice depends on the hold you need and the style of the dress.
Yes, depending on the design, the workshop can adapt the colours, flowers, pearls or the gold or silver finish to echo the dress, the bouquet or your other jewellery.
Each creation is made to order. Allow 7 to 14 days of preparation at the workshop before dispatch. If your wedding date is approaching, write to the workshop before ordering.
