Advice from the house

Choosing
your piece.

Crown, tiara or headband?

The classic bridal crown encircles the head and pairs well with loose hair or a boho braid. The tiara, also called a diadem, is worn further back: it adds height and presence and suits elaborate chignons as well as formal ceremonies. The headband remains the most understated choice, with a low chignon or natural waves.

Most of the workshop’s collections have their own headband: Paulette with its daisies, Hanielle with its hydrangeas, as well as Bianca, Sybille, Victorine, Gladys, Lohanah and Constance. The Eleonore tiara, made of leaves and mother-of-pearl beads, was designed to be worn with a veil.

For a rustic wedding, choose white, ivory or pale pink tones. For a classic or religious ceremony, a tiara. For an intimate town hall ceremony, a fine headband. The colours, flowers and pearls can often be adapted to echo the bouquet. If it is a flower crown you are looking for, our guide details the styles, materials and alternatives.

Your questions

How to choose between a crown, a tiara and a headband?

A crown suits boho or rustic weddings, a tiara adds more height and presence, while a headband remains more understated and modern. The choice depends above all on the hairstyle and the volume you want.

Can a crown be matched to the wedding flowers?

Yes, the colours, flowers, pearls and ribbons can often be adapted to echo the bouquet, the dress or the overall atmosphere of the wedding.

Can a tiara or a headband be worn with a veil?

Yes. The Eleonore tiara was designed precisely to go with a veil. For the other designs, plan where the veil will sit with your hairdresser during the hair trial.

How much time should I allow for a tiara or a headband?

Each creation is made to order. Allow 7 to 14 days of preparation at the workshop before dispatch. If your wedding date is approaching, write to the workshop before ordering.
